Got a trip to Conroe for a work related conference and banquet. Stayed at La Torreta. Great place, great food. It used to be called Del Lago, and now has been remodelled and opened under the new name.
Hired guide Chris Edwards to take me and my lovely bride fishing Sunday and he did a great job putting us on crappie action. We managed 2 nice hybrids also, on ultralight tackle. That was fun!
Chris ran a night trip, picked us up at 7am, and then ran a 1pm trip. This young man is tough, and aims to please. If you need a guide on conroe, give him a shout. Here is his website http://www.conroefishingguide.com/
