I don't get why people would be upset. Anyone that is upset with people catching and keeping a legal limit is a moron. But the world is full of them . . . . .

I believe they got mad coach because of the pub on those pics.

Loose lips sink ships...don't matter if it's fishing, duck hunting, whatever. When those pics popped up had a lot of people going east hoping to come close to that meat haul...added more pressure on the fish and the guys that make money on that water.

Some un namable friend of mine called me years ago on his way home and said something like 23 trout over 7 pounds, and like 7 or 8 were over 29 inches. I can't remember who that was but I do recall not liking him for a while.... If I recall, all of the little ones were 5's and 6's. Crappy day for sure!

I can't even fathom a day like that...i can only hope that the stars align in such a way for me some day...and that i have a witness!

God we caught a lot of trout in Plaquemine,

My fishing partner and I went once in early March maybe in 2002 and fished three days throwing topwaters and caught mainly trout and some redfish from daylight until dark and none were under 24"s.
I doubt that I will EVER see fishing like that again........right Glenn?
