  • just a small note

I'm so needing to check my gas tank, but on that thought, check your gas tank before you go out the next time. This is really a note to self. May have a couple, dozen runs to the gas station, but I need to get the tank filled before I (we) go out again. And put in some stayble. Just to make sure.

whew, got a lot to work on tomorrow....

Good advice-I pulled in a boat 2 weeks ago-he said he aint run it for almost a year and didn't get far due to apparent bad gas.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

Na, she wanted to tease me because I ran out of gas in the canal right by her house yesterday. She did save me by bringing over a gas can.
I realized I didn't have any gas in the main canal and thought I could make it back to the ramp, not! Then I thought I could trolling motor in but it crapped out too..... paddling a cat into the wind is a losing proposition.

Hey Kenny, I didnt bring that up. And would not have, it just reminded me that a lot of us dont look at our gauges. Not wanting to tease you, well unless you went back out fishing on that half gallon of gas, but really, it gave me a chance to think about the things to check before one goes out. Like my boat, if its full, it reads 88%, after several hours on the water it reads 86% only last time we filled it up, it needed 24 gallons of gas.. its a 50 gal tank, but it read 86%! Dont know how much gas is in the tank, but Marine Max promises me that it's all going to work out. Again, at least you can believe your gauges. And several others, just sending out a little reminder. Scout has ordered me to take the boat back to MM and make it right. Heck, I dont even know how to back it out of the boat house, let alone figure out to load it onto the trailer. Sure hope the BIL and his son take pity on me and help me, but in some ways, they probably will go out of their way to help me out.. geezzzzz.

All I want to do is to make sure its full of gas. I dont care about the gauge. One can figure out that every time you use it you need to put gas in it. Kinda of a 'duh' factor.
              Oh well.

You're gonna think I'm weird but I have never run out of gasoline or any other fuel in my life. Never. And my wife is the exact opposite, leave the house and say "I got and eighth of a tank let's go!"

I've been stuck on the sandbars, sure, everyone on the bayside does that or you're not a fisherman. But gas? No way. I might forget my tackle box, drain plug, or something way important, but I got gas for motoring, baby!
