That big flushing noise...

... was all the water leaving West Bay over night. When the front blew in yesterday the water came up about 1.5 feet in three hours. This morning it was down about 3.5' from the high.

I bet it was ripping through SLP last night.

It was so windy even TTU Wader stayed in this morning.

It was RIPPING through SLP last night. Monte and I saw it go down approximately 4 inches in only about 30 minutes.

I need to remember to drive down there when it is doing that just to see it.

Haha!! If I went out in that I don't know if I would have made it back! The tide has gone out even more since noon. I have to drive over the pass on the way to work tomorrow, I'm sure I will see some sandbars.

If you had gone out, I probably would have had to tow the skiff behind the Whaler to rescue you. I might have even had to tow a kayak behind the skiff.

san luis pass is like an island and it might have gotten lower. i was there until 12 today and the beach is way out and the sand bars around the pass on the bay side are now islands

Haha. Man it has gotten even lower! I will take some pictures when I get off. If I make it out on the water this afternoon I will be sure to take some as well.
