        Are you kidding?!?!?!?!

I made the mistake of stopping by there earlier today.
Those pirates almost clapped me in chains and started pulling out the bullwhips!
        They ALMOST got me!!!!
Luckily I was able to outrun those bilge rats and make it to me bote and made a getaway.

Monte, I tried to call you back after I got the voice mail last night. I was at a party at the Monument Inn.

I awoke from a nap and saw Monte had done the same. Seems that the sound of rain on the roof is so soothing, you get lulled into a nap. It was getting cold and I noticed the wind was howling. When I opened the door and saw the gale buffeting the Runner, I decided I'd best get out of there a day early with Monte's help. So we rushed to pack, with Monte being a HUGE help getting things squared away. I did have to leave the dishes partially undone and the place is an absolute disaster with boards, trim, and sawdust everywhere. Luckily, though the wind was blowing over 40 at times, the trip back was fairly smooth due to the protection afforded by the marsh. We didn't even get wet. It was a shame to end such a fantastic week out there on such a gloomy note, but Spring will hang on here soon and the bayou beckons with the promise of glorious days to come.
