  • My project.

Some may know, I picked up a brush guard from the gypsies on the beach that Coach had been taking the torn up pieces of Ghost Camp to. Well I got it home and inspected it the next day. I noticed that it wasn't in all that great of shape. But for 50 dollars I couldnt beat it. First thing I noticed is the welds on the top bar of the guard weren't worth a darn. So I called up my friend and asked him if he could do me a favor and weld it up. Well the top bar wasn't all that needed to be welded the bottom bar was loose and the top bar wasn't welded on the right way. So he came and picked it up and took it to his house and in a few weeks I got it back. I got it back and took a wire brush to the welds and then primered them. Over the past couple weekends i've been sanding and primering it and getting it ready to eventually sometime down the road be herculined. Well I've finished the primer and here shortly i'm going to go back outside and put some semi flat black paint on it.

Man guys, there's nothing quite like that first car when you're a kid. Keep it up Primer. I had that same truck in black with a 350 in it. I sold it with 255,000 on it. I still miss it.
From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."
