LOL, if you remember that good, remember the freezes of 1989 and 1983 - well maybe I got them years off a little but that was bitter cold, 14 degrees up in Austin. In 83, I was at MI's camp in Rockport to duck hunt. Literally thousands of reds and trout floating everywhere-and that was the ones on the surface with thousands more on the bottom dead-never saw so many dead fish-was very sad. 89 wasn't as bad, but still major kills. Ice along shorelines. Wonder why Al Gore forgot about them cold winters? Do you remember the snow in 62? (may have been 63??). We built a snowman.
