I had my right hip replaced in Dec 08 and the left one in april 09. Back to work in five weeks on both. 1000000% difference in before and after!!!
Dr Randall at East Houston Orthopeics did mine..

Cool...I had my right done in January 08, then the left. I'm getting the advantage of longer time off. What do you do for a living? That's a quick turnaround!
