Almost 2 Weeks Now...

and all is well so far with my hip replacement. Go in tomorrow for a 2 week Xray to make sure all is well with the alignment and bone/metal connection. I don't forsee any problems though. Still doing the walker thing, but have been venturing(short bursts) a little here and there without it. Actually drove myself to the doctor today, and that went well.
Tomorrow, Willie and I are going to do the Topwater Grill if anyone wants to join us...let me or WillieP know. Really looking forward to getting out, and I heard that Topwater is back and better than ever!

Damn, I wanna go fish now!

It is good to hear everything is going well. You'll be back in actions in no time, besides the trout need a little break every now and then.

I have played four rounds of golf and kayak fished for the last 4 weeks.

You'll be glad you did it.

PS therapy in the pool is outstanding, I highly recommend it. It will for sure speed up your recovery.

Only bad thing about it is it didn't fix my slice

Alright, another doubler! Yeah, my first one went very well and i had the same experiance pretty much. Pool therapy starts in a week. That was one luxury i didn't have last time. We should get together in a few months and do a yak trip. At 12 weeks I hope I don't feel it...I haver to go back to work.
Who was your doctor...if you don't mind me asking? I went through St Lukes and Dr Landon...one heck of a doctor!

The yak trip sounds great, let's do that when your ready.
I went to Texas Orthopedic Hospital and the doc was Dr. Matthews.
Very happy with him both times.
