Henry, I'm going to try and hit Seawolf tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get some thumps.

Dale , do you park on the road before intering the park and walk to the Galveston ship channel ?

Most of the time I park off the road. I may go in and do pay parking tomorrow.
I always fish the north side unless the wind force me to fish the channel area.

Remember when one could drive on the road to the cove ? It was always crowded with waders during the flounder run . They have ruined it all .

Couldn’t stand it yesterday so I called Pat and said let’s go. Hit the water around 1 and headed to my first spot which had 3 boats already in that area.., moved on and soon found some birds working. Throwing DSL White Ice worked the birds for about 20 minutes catching & releasing some solid Specs. Another boat came by but stayed a good distance from us (thanks!). Fished 2 more groups picking up nice fish (18-20”). Shut it down at 3 and heading back in to beat rush hour traffic.

Nice day, water a little dirty but fish were eating.., can’t wait to go back again.

All I know is there were very few fish caught in the area I was fishing. The incoming tide was pretty weak, so if they
were on the north side they didn't get pushed into the shallow flats.
They could be holding in deep water. The crowds were light for a Saturday. Which tells me Friday was
probably poor also. I think Joe (Chickenboy) is still working the marsh from looking at the other website.
That would indicate there are still a lot remaining in the bay system.
