That's awesome! What a great place to be!

Props on the JJ Grey tune as well. One of my favorites.

Wow that brings back memories. Our family used to own the big White house, now gone that was in the middle of the cedars as you exit your house first on right. We bought it from the Moody family back in 1948. It stood through all the hurricanes including Carla, got hit by lightning weekend before Alicia and burnt to the ground. House was said to be built in 1918. We originally had a 99 year lease on the island, but was revoked when it was declared tidal land and it was public property, but then we had to register it and pay tax to the county. Lot of history and memories, we called it Mud Island. We had wild hogs on it, they got aggressive, kept the rattlesnake population in check, but we had to eradicate them, set the whole island on fire, that was a mistake almost burned the house down. Lot of great memories.

Wow Jerry! I'd love to talk to you about the history of that place! Maybe I could get you out here sometime. Lots of stories about that place. Lots of remnants on the property too.
