Boys Weekend on West Bay

I hosted a few of my hunting buddies from Colorado down at my place in Jamaica Beach this past weekend. This was the second year we've done this trip and we had a blast.

Once we got past all the questions about sharks, stingrays and jelly fish...I was able to get them to gear up and get out of the boat to wade fish. A few of them figured out how to fish soft plastics and between that and live shrimp we were able to box a few nice fish over a couple of days.

We fished all over West Bay and found fish at pretty much every spot we tried. And worked in a crawfish boil as well.

Already planing next year's trip.

JT...these guys all hunt on a place east of Denver called Indian Meadows. Waterfowl and deer mostly...they stay in a bunkhouse behind the lodge...so BHB = Bunk House Boys. We call my Jamaica Beach place Uncle D's Fish Camp (UDFC).

Put it together and the weekend is known as BHB2UDFC. This year they made me a flag and T-Shirts. Cause we all have nothing better to do with our time or money. :-)
