Myself and a few friends take a fishing trip once or twice a year and the last few times have really enjoyed Galveston. We've stayed on West Bay (Terramar) and Bolivar (wife & kids can go to beach, I can fish!). We are staying in Terramar again next weekend and I'm wondering how the fishing has been. I know it's not the end all be all, but the Well's report has our days as about as bad as you can get, not much moving water!
One buddy loves to fish at night so we'll hit up the canals and lights, but during the day any suggestions for where is producing? I'm not as familiar with the patterns on WB in the summer. I'm almost wondering if we should trailer and go float the boat parade in mid bay Galveston. Does snake island and carancahua reef hold fish this time of year? Or Greens lake for redfish?
If you're in the Terramar area feel free to PM me and swing by and have a beer. Would love to meet some new fishing buddies and hear some stories.
