HAR! Good story and a lesson I need to heed . Don't put old 9 volt batteries with a bulging bottom in your mouth . I had one explode in my mouth . It was a flashlight and I put it in my mouth to use both hands .No damage , but, it gets your attention .

Of all people, one would think a dentist would know that already.
From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."

Yeah, it seems that only the nine-volt batteries have the connectors on the same end. Pretty hard to set yourself on fire with some D cells.

That picture of the Darwin kid putting a knife into the outlet reminded me of my misspent youth.

I guess I was five or so; someone got a set of earphones for Christmas (probably for a crystal radio...anyone old enough to remember those?). I took the two leads and, naturally, stuck them into an outlet. All that I remember is a SNAPPING sound for an instant. Ha Ha Still alive and kicking at age 77.
