Anyone fish Moses Lake? I want to take my Kayak in the lake and am looking for a good launch place. Any help will be appreciated. If any members Kayak fish, and want to meet up, that's good too. Tight lines to everyone.

The FISH SPOT on 20th street north is a boat launch / burger place on Moses Lake . There is a boat launch under the 146 bridge on the north side of Dickinson Bayou . Both would be a distance for a paddler , but , your prop driven kayak would not be a problem. I am not aware of any other drive up launch spot on Moses . If there is ,I would care to know myself . A vigorous soul might drag a kayak up and down the steep Moses Lake Skyline Drive at the flood gates .

Good info plugger. Also, watch out of the gun range in the back. There's good fishing back there but not the only area to fish.

I've heard from some rather strong guys that launching from the Dike is a B****** LOL. I'd go with the other places Plugger mentioned.

There are spoil reefs along all the channels in there, and some marsh in the back.

      have fun.

On the North side of Moses Bayou on Hwy 146 along the Railroad tracks is a good place to launch a Kayak. The flounder fishing is very good around the Railroad bridge.

Thank you plugger. I'm vigorous, but not that vigorous. I'll check out both of the launch places. With all the kayak fishing you'd think launch sites would be more accommodating. If you're interested in going, I can pull you. My buddy I fished with before his stroke, made fun of my yak when I first got it. That was until the wind kicked up in West Bay and I pulled him back to launch site. LOL 😂
Thanks for the tips and advice. 🇺🇸
