Got a call from FP10 wanting to get out and catch a few, so knowing he only gets a week day off once in a while, I hooked up the whaler and met him at the fish spot. We launched to 20 mph winds due north and took a slow ride to some semi- protected water. We were disadvantaged moving around so we had to work a 200 yard area out from the shoreline to mid-lake. The fish were schooled up tight in a certain small area but we managed with several fast drifts to get on a few. Not bad for an old salt and my apprentice against some real tough odds.( You did good, homeboy). Jeremy took a photo of the catch if he cares to put it up. Look forward to the next trip and hopefully some better conditions.
