So, after many years of dating, I finally popped the question and am engaged to the most beautiful, loving and caring girl I know. I didn't come here to brag about that though. I came here to say thanks to one of the better things to happen to me in my life- everyone here. As sappy as it sounds, this forum helped shape me towards my future. A bunch of probably misfits who share the love, art and science of fishing. When times were good, or rough, I went fishing and shared some of my experiences here as a way to vent. Personally, it was therapeutic to write about it all and share it with everyone here. That venting gave way to clarity on what is life. Then came the camaraderie and advice that opened up a whole new worldview on fishing and the outdoors. This forum wouldn't be what it is without y'all. I'll be making an effort to post here more often but again, thanks to all!
