Knotty discusion

So I've recently been questioning my knots. It's not that I've had any problems but over the years I've experimented with swivels, snap swivels, double uni knots, Palomar knots, loop knots and the list goes on and on with much opinion from every source. I recently decided I'm going to try fg knots (sebille knots) in place of my braid to flouro swivel I would use. Also going to tie Palomar and loop knots directly to my lures except spoons I always use a clip swivel on them. I'd like to hear how other people rig there jigs which I rig direct. Or there plugs which I use loops. I think a lot of people have these questions so please post your rig info up.

I have heard that FG knot is a good one. I use the uni to uni knot from braid to fluorocarbon leader. Then tie a loop knot to all the lures I use. Just a personal preference and confidence thing.

Yea I would use either a swivel or double uni but since I can sometimes be a skeptic I tied the double uni and the fg knot on the same line and pulled until one broke and the double uni broke and I couldn't get the fg knot to break. Basically every knot I tried broke and I never broke the fg. I did notice you have to pull the fg knot tight before cutting the tag ends or it won't work

I've tied the crazy Alberto knot before for fly line to leader applications but I think it had a different name. I've mastered the fg knot and rigged it up on all my rods to give it a shot next time I'm on the water. Here is another question what size flouro do yall like to use. I use 20 or 30lb

Finns Windtamer 30/8. Fluoro is 30. I think I have some 20 I use sometimes as well.

I've never tried the FG before but I love to try out new knots. I always use a crazy Alberto for tying braid to flouro.
