  • How has the bite been around skyline and dollar point areas?

    Brew Crew
Has anyone been fishing around Tx city skyline and dollar areas lately? How has the bite been over there? Anyone getting any sizable trout? Ive been very busy at work on a big project so I have not really been tracking the bite that well lately. I did bang out a 24" and a 21" by maggies last weekend and several mid sized reds but nothing really to brag about. Heading out tomorrow and would like to do more catching than fishing. Any tips from the usual old schoolers and salts. How about it JT, hogie, and Plugger? No offence your not old just better.

It's tough in my usual spots. East winds, bull tides = tough bites. I have nothing to offer other than expect a grind wadefishing. I'm sure you could drift fish and do well.

The only time I go to Texas City is when I ride with Roy to pick up crawfish for the Sand Bar at Boyds; and he's driving so I can drink beer on the way up and back.

Another typical page from a wasted life of debauchery and fun.
