I'm going under the knife tomorrow for this knot I have on my arm. Doc says it's not cancer, but he wants it OUT. If you don't count having hooks removed from my neck, I haven't had surgery since my back when I was 15. That was a living nightmare, but at least I learned to walk again. This shouldn't be that serious, so I'm more asking for prayers for my nerves than anything else. I'm pretty knotted up right now. No pun intended. Will post as soon as I'm able. - Sandy

I'm home now. Woozy, but so glad it's over. After the awfulness of having the IV installed, I was out. So everything went very well from there on. Let's just hope for good news from the lab. Thank y'all for the prayers. I only freaked out a little bit. From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."

When I got outta there, I was still pretty high. I told Lynne I thought I could go back to work after lunch. I had lunch, made the above post and felt great. I then passed out on her couch for about 3 hours. I woke up and school was over. As the evening progressed, the deadening agent has worn off. So now I have a pretty good ouchie. I'm on a Tylenol and Aleve regimen. They didn't want to give me anything stronger. I assume that's due to the epidemic in this country of all the folks addicted to pain killers. It's tolerable right now, but it's starting to feel like I just had something ripped outta me. I decided I'd better not try to go to work tomorrow. I had another 2 hour nap and my clock is completely messed up now. From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."
