If Milkjug gets around em in a year or so-very small-j/k!! Good question Kylie.

    Bryan-do you know?
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

They believe a 10% survial rate is the norm, from release to the fisherman.

The longer you let them grow in captivity, the better the survival

After the awards were given out, a small group of us got over to the facility and got to see the baby flounder.

This is a teaser report and picture of a tank holding over 6,000 flounder that are ready to be released in Galveston Bay. The biologist are wating for the right time, preferably after all threats of freeze to release.

A large number of these fish were spawned from the 100 or so flounder that were brought in for the Lutes Marine fishing tournemnt series on Chocolate Bayou in 2009.

This will be the 1st release of flounder for the Galveston Bay system.

Thanks for all of the FWE members like: fisher_of_men who came out to lend a helping hand at the Lutes Events.

          nice job Bryan

a follow up question. how many flounder are estimated to be in and around the galveston bay complex/gulf. that goes for trout and reds as well. if anyone happens to have those numbers.

They will be under an inch in size.

The schedule for the tournament date has not come out yet, but the 1st tourney of the year will be near the end of April .... in time for the spring run.

This is a Galveston bay thing, as the flounder brought in from Galveston, have a specific gene for Galveston Bay complex.

We only use Galveston fish for restocking .....

If you or any one here is not on my email list for the tourneys that help support Sea Center and the flounder restocking, PM me your email .....

Uhmmmmm .... yea, that might be a little hard even to estimate .... That question is a first for me, but right after I count all the stars in space I will start for fish in Galveston ..... j/k

i figured that some state or federal agency would have a way to estimate the number of fish in the area seeing as they keep tallies on other game.
