Dang, I know that area real well and never thought about snakes. SO GLAD she is okay. What a scare.

That's such a tiny snake to pack that much venom. I'm glad she's a lot better. I've been up & down those rocks dozens of times, but mainly in the winter and always wearing wading boots. Those snakes love the rocks. I've seen them before on either side of Jamaica Beach in the rocks."GET OFF MY REEF!"Comment

Great news that she survived and is doing better. D#$%@ snakes.
I was wade fishing at the GISP shore on Lake Como some years ago. Sun goes down; mosquitoes come out; and two snakes started out from shore for me. Scared the beegeezies out of me!. Long rod tips sloshed in the water turned them away.
