Went out again yesterday and was greeted with winds higher than expected as usual...but hey no rain!! Started at my first spot that has been producing and was greeted by lady fish after lady fish on topwater so I made a move quick. Second spot had slicks popping up but could never seem to get behind one in time. Ended up scratching out two there on top and decided to move back to my fist spot with the tide switching around. The water cleared up nicely and I could now see my feet in waist deep water. I got another 3 on top one on a plastic then another on top. Ended with 7 to 19" and left the water at 11:30. Missed a few and lost a big trout that followed up my plastic then hit it as I was about to pull it out of the water. I didn't get a hook set and she spit the hook.
