  • Mud Island Marsh

I was curious if anyone has tried the Marsh areas on Mud Island. Not looking for any sweet spots just if anyone has had a decent trip in the marsh on Mud Island. Looks like there would be some good areas for fish since it is right there by the pass both east and west side of the island. I could be wrong but just curious. That is a bit of a drive for me so I was just checking before I take a trek down yonder. If ya'll have had good trips, what would be the ideal conditions to fish the marsh there? Thanks in advance.

Are you planning on paddling back there?

Lots of great spots for kayaking and piroguing. Everything depends on the tides though. Right now the marshes are emptying out and the fish are hanging at the mouth of the drains. I'm in Titlum-Tatlum. Lots of action right now.
