A friend told me this morning that his friend was turned around by the police at 5:45 this morning before he got to the end of the dike because the lot already had more than 300 cars/trailers at the ramp parking area and surrounding area. People couldn't even get to the end of the dike because of all the trailers. He was barely able to launch at one of the ramps closer to the levee.
Man, I'm so sorry I missed THAT circus. I was thinking earlier of getting a bag of popcorn, a cooler of beer, a lawn chair, beach umbrella and a bullet-proof vest and going down and watching everyone coming back in.
Another guide friend told me that he stopped counting boats at Hanna's Reef after 100 yesterday. I am still fishing topwaters in my back yard.
What the heck....is the fishing that bad in West Bay right now?
