Headed out Friday around 10:30 after the rain died down and actually found some decent water that had plenty of bait, started out fishing 2-3 ft of water with little success, then I decided to move up since the tide was up in the grass and found the reds in 1-1.5 feet over scattered shell and mixed mud/sandy bottom, we popped 3 limits of reds a couple trout and released another dozen or so between us, also released a trout around 26 we found mingling with the reds.

Saturday we fished Capt marks tournament, Headed out @ 5:50 a.m. with a steady rain an NE wind blowing 10-15, fish were still were they were the day before despite dirty water and choppy, caught 4 red all in the 6.5-8lb range, then we made a move to find a few good trout. Found plenty of trout just couldn't get the 5-6lber we needed, ended up with one about 22" weighing about 3.5 lbs, Then we had to get our flounder we tried a couple new areas thinking our normal spots were flushed out and we didn't have any luck, so we made a move to a really fresh area but it normally holds flounder in normal conditions, and right off the bat lost one and then caught one about 17", Didn't pick up the win but did place 3rd for largest redfish and had a great day on the water despite the early weather.
