  • Where to fish?

Hello all me and some buddies will be on Sportsman dr this weekend trying to not float away and maybe catch some fish. I know with all the rain the bay will be pretty brackish due to Trinity and San Jacinto rivers are dumping on the bay. Do you have some alternatives for land fishing that may be more productive if there aren't hungry fish under our pier? Maybe the Jetties or San Luis pass or Rollover? Any info would be much appreciated.
    Cheers

I personally would fish the pass areas. That's where your going to have a healthy mix of salt. Tobin from trout support posted a great response on another thread so go check that out.

Need to take extra precaution fishing any of the passes due to the extra water trying to escape the bays.

It will be plenty salty on the south side of the Bay. The fish aren't going anywhere

          ^This.

          Thanks for the props Kody.

Always have to be careful at the pass, swift currents no matter if flood flows or not. Ya'll be careful.

If the wind lays you can also hit the surf or rock hop the jetties.
