  • Memorial day report.

Headed out early Memorial day, light winds and decent water. The water was not very salty at all which is not surprising due to all the recent downpours, anyways pulled up on a Shoreline and noticed plenty of bait jumping nervously an I hop out of the boat an 2nd cast hook up to a decent trout an from then on I caught 15-20 in no time. Headed back to boat to try to find a few reds, pulled up on another shoreline and it was dirty with not much bait activity but grinded out 2 keeper reds there. Both Reds and Trout were 1.5-2.5' of water with a mostly sandy bottom. Was home by 9:00 a.m. so I beat most of the crazies out.All in all good day of fishing.
