  • Hearing Aides

Went to Pearland Hearing Aides & Audiology. Went to have a hearing evaluation. Dr. Chris F. Araj Board Certified in Audiology performed the test. When reviewing the results with me, he made it very easy to understand, and assisted me in exploring the many options available. If you need an audiologist, I highly recommend Dr. Chris Araj. His web site is draraj@pearlandhearingaids.com. Lord Bless.

I'm on my fourth set of hearing aids in 12 years. I had a good friend that we did a number of missions trips together that was an audiologist. Had purchased all of them from him until five years ago. He priced the latest and greatest to me at $6,600.00. I went on the Internet and started reading blogs. Ended up at Costco -- got a GREAT hearing test, got the same AIDS for $1,900.00 with a no asked guarantee for the first three months (return them for a full refund) also a one year "if you loose one or both, your dog eats them, etc." they will replace them for free --- I actually lost one on a cattle round up in California and I called Costco in Sacramento and they had it there the next day adjusted just the way it was when I lost mine. Fast forward to about seven months ago and I go in to replace one that I had lost (way past the one year) and the lady said yours are really behind the newest technology. How much for new ones--- THEY HAD GONE DOWN --- $1,700.00 for the newest thing. They are unbelievable!! Operate from my smart phone, have Bluetooth, four different settings and I can hear better on the phone than for the past ten years.

No, I don't work for Costco and I don't own any of their stock

    Could not not be happier

    Blessings

Just bought a set from COSTCO also. Paid $6800 for the first set from an audiologist. Got a better exam and explanations from the COSTCO audiologist and they are Bluetooth, pairs with my phone, got an adapter that bluetooths the tv to my hearing aids and a UV dryer all for $2700. Same brand and style as the $6800 set - only way better. I now push a button on a fob to answer and end phone calls with the phone in my pocket. Great deals to be had there!

It really depends on your hearing loss. My high range is pretty much gone, so I just need amplification mainly. Aids are sold according to the number of programable channels, kind of like pixels with digital cameras a decade ago. Get the ones with the bluetooth. I got mine at Sam's and they were more for less it seems if the Costco price being quoted is accurate.

I've needed a hearing aid since i was in my late 20's. i know its from shooting too many shotguns and 45's without plugs.

the only problem i see with getting one is that you don't want to look like an old fart in a night club and the hidden ones are so expensive. my hearing gets worse by the year too.

Sure it is-it's really due to all the yelling from all your GFs!!! That and your playing Kanye West Rap Music at full volume.

If you were like me, I'm deaf because my buddies and brothers always slapped my on the side of the haid and yelled "Bullchip"-that and my dad hitting me on the side of the haid when I misbehaved.

It is amazing how expensive those dang hearing aids are!! Wonder if ObamaCare covers it ?
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

You would be surprised at how people have no idea that you are wearing behind the ear aides. They also don't see the clear tube that goes in the ear.

Yeah shotguns, compressors and sandblasting, Offenhausers, 40,000 rpm Makita grinders, routers, and some good old fashioned family genetics. My grandma and mom were both deaf as a post at 70.

                      Yeah shotguns
