  • Boat up bar/grills in West Bay

I've been to Slappy's at Harborwalk and the Waterman. Are there any other good bar/grill type places where you can pull up in your boat? Thanks.

X3 on The Sand Bar in Sea Isle. Also has pool table, TVs and full bar.

Upstairs is The West End Restaurant-more a 'real restaurant'-full menu versus the Sand Bar menu.

At The Sand Bar, Monday's are Steak Night (I think still doing that) and the burgers are probably one of the best in Galveston. They have 'Motown Larry' DJ'ing on Fridays and a band on Saturday nites.

Thanks guys. I knew I had to be missing something. I've never been that far down the island via boat. Looks like I'm going to have to make a "cross country" trip pretty soon.

You won't regret the trip! Great food at The Sand Bar and great atmosphere as well.

I usually just slide up to Aqua Pimp's dock and pinch a couple of Corona's out of the downstairs fridge. Sshhh....don't tell.

AP doesn't have a 'dock' at The sand bar, but JT has a tab-all are welcome to charge to it-shieet I do all the time!

WillieP and I prefer to pull up to Explorer21's dock, hang out a while on his patio and watch television, then throw empty Lone Star cans in his boat.

Naw, seriously. In West Bay, it's the Sand Bar.
