Raining in Angleton too, but for some reason it doesn't show on the radar. All the doom and gloom from the weather liars had be blow off all my weekend fishing plans. It rained lightly for about 10 minutes yesterday and today looks like a rain bust again. I could be out at the camp darnit. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad it won't be much for the weekend, but how can they be SO WRONG? Monday they're calling for rainmageddon again. We'll see.

Have y'all noticed now how quick school is cancelled off a weather forecast. I can count on one finger all the weather days I missed school in my 12 year career
Yeah we cancelled our fishing plans too listening to the weather liars. Ain't gonna happen again. Next week we will be on the water. If it's bad we go home if not we fish. Yesterday we got very little early. Today nothing!!!
Started at 7 with wind SE-5, drizzle. At 9:30 the wind had moved to the NW-10. Rained or drizzled on me the whole time. Kept checking the radar on my phone and it showed no rain clouds at all during the whole time (over my area) but some scattered around within a few miles. Quit at 10-didn't get a bite the whole time.......if you stayed home, I'm jealous. Sun came out at my house as soon as I pulled the boat into the driveway. At least I got my weekly bath!

No chit, been like that for weeks too. No beach here right now at all, none.
They have been really high, I've never seen it consistently this high this time of year since 1996 when I got down here. Not quite as high this am as during the week. It was good fishing weather this am, and I thought we were supposed to be rained out...the fish were hungry too.
