Super Skunked

Well it finally happened to me..... I not only got skunked this weekend, I got super skunked as I did not even get a bite both days. I went as far as upper chocolate to all shorelines of west bay. They just wouldn't touch anything I threw. Softs, dines, corkys, tops, I threw it all and nada. Any one do better, What where ya throwing and where were ya fishing. Sad.

I fished from carancahua lake to cove to north jetti and all I have to show is a big gas bill. They were not biting on live shrimp, mud minnows, nor artificials. Galveston bay is kicking my ***** this year...

Well.....now I feel better, because all we did yesterday in SLP (besides getting stuck on the way in....!!) was drown bait.....!

It has been tough.., went out last week and fished all day with a total of 2 Specs. Both came back to back with me catching one then Pat. After that, just burned fuel and daylight. I feel like a beginner again[emoji41]

Dang....I been doing pretty good last couple of weeks-when not too windy. At least a half dozen trout and reds every day I fished with some flatties mixed in. Must be all that clean living (and the hallucinogens).
