  • New to saltwater

Hello all - I have been a freshwater fisherman all my life, but decided this year to buy a center console and do some salt water fishing. Been doing a lot of research, and decided a 24-26' should do the job, maybe even a little blue water fishing on perfect weather days.

It occurred to me that trying to find a fishing partner (that already had a boat) before I bought mine might be a good idea, learn the area, learn a little more about the boats, and get the general experience.

If anyone knows of a forum like this, I would appreciate the info. If anyone would not mind a ride along, I am more than happy to pick up the gas and bait....

    Thanks,

    Matt

When you mentioned center console, I think more along the lines of what I have
to fish in. I must say you will be at the offshore spot and home before I get started.
