Water is gorgeous in the SLP area.

Of course the weather is gorgeous all weekend while I work and turns to crap as soon as I'm off on the weekdays.

Weekend warriors get all the nice weather. Don't care what anyone says.

It horrible. Raining, thunder, snow came in at noon. Terrible. And no fish. Not one.... Hope it made you feel better! Ok so the truth. Great. Trout were biting On black plastic with chartreuse tail and the tool a few reds with a top water. Really great day

Dang. I was around N. Deer at sunrise until 1pm. I threw tops, tails, devils, and finally live shrimp and couldnt find anything. Where did you find the trout and reds?

We had 1 trout, 2 reds, a sand trout and a flounder on Saturday. Only the flounder kept.

Got blanked on Sunday. Only fished a couple of hours both days...all on plastics.

On Saturday I caught a kraken, two mermaids and the elusive square grouper(hundred pounder). Kept the grouper, all caught on crawfish tails.
