    Here's a note from Bret B,

"I bought the trout limits dvd and the Bay, shoreline redfish dvd and have been very happy with both. Both have a ton of information in them and you really have to watch each of them a few times to really absorb the info. Have your rewind button ready!

I was familiar with some of the topics discussed in the limits dvd but had never experienced them out on the water so the real life visuals really helped me learn what specifically to look for and how to set up for best success.

Best of all is the customer support from Tobin. You can email him with any question and he will promptly respond with an answer... You cant find that anywhere else these days.

Will be purchasing the Big trout dvd in the near future!" - Brett

This note came in about a week ago from John R.

"Great information in these dad’s. Also the best customer service!! Highly recommend these fishing guides" -John R

PS... I'm sure he meant that the videos are fishing guides, not us being 'guides'.

Here's another ... From Kevin Kanack.

Kevin bought the vids about a little over a year ago because his dad was tired of not catching fish and ready to throw in the towel despite having a great place on the water, a great boat, all the great etc. etc. down the list. Now Kevin is putting his dad on fish and they're having a ball.

Congrats Kevin. Props for taking your dad and putting him on fish.

The photos and statement are from a text Kevin sent me.

Here's a note I recieved via text Message. Tim Flan had purchased the DVD's before fishing a tournament in Galveston. This was sent 5 days after watching the DVDs and at the end of his prefish day.

Here's a note that came in from John Busse via the website...
"I am a recent transplant to the TX gulf coast who has been fishing my whole life. With that said I could not get the hang of the chaos that was "hunting shallow reds". I knew they were there, but could not find them. This video allowed me to read the water in real time much more effectively instead of making a plan the night before and sticking with it. The proof is in the pudding, I have caught reds every trip since watching the video." - John

Fishing has been productive lately, the trick is finding the better quality fish. If you are seeking trout right now.. there are plenty fish under the birds, but most of those are small this early into the 'fall transition'. Many of the fish have spread out throughout the bay system but there are still a few making slicks and feeding under scattering or active bait.. those fish will be better size. I prefer to just target reds and flounder this time of year as it's probably the best time for hunting them. Shallow shell and satellite reefs in secondary lakes should be holding a fish or two. Flounder are still beginning to stage in marsh cuts and drains that lead into secondary bays. Hunt the fish and you'll find them.

And here's another note from September, from JasonT

                            This from Doug Atkinson
"Anyway, I applied a few of the lessons from your shallow red fish DVD. It was the part about channels/creeks opening up into other channels or bigger ponds/lakes. I could see a few tailing reds so I threw the gulp mullet a good bit beyond where they were situated and just ran it through (another lesson on your dvd) and one aggressively took it. It was an incredible experience. Thanks again!"

Great time to be redfishing right now and finding some areas for winter trout fishing.

I just wanted to post this for those who are looking into buying the Trout Support DVD's.

If it wasn't for Tobin and his crew who helped create these DVD's, I would still be stuck way behind the learning curve from where I am at now. He truly goes above and beyond to help each and every angler whether he/ she may be new to the sport or salty. He's very knowledgeable and a great mentor. I still watch these DVD's all the time. My wife thinks I'm crazy, but you learn something new every time you watch them. Keep up the outstanding work Tobin! May your lines always be tight!
