  • West Bay Sunday ONE GIANT SHALLOW FLAT

Had to go to the office for a half day but went out briefly in the afternoon and wow did the water disappear. In the end canal of BV my depth finder showed 2.6' and in my canal it was only 6' deep in what is usually about 10' deep. I didn't even get a bump. Did anyone catch anything in west on Sunday?

JT caught a beer buzz and many the Chiefs caught Hoyer's passes.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

Man I couldn't catch a cold on sunday. The bays should be looking good though and maybe we're actually on the winter fishing once they clean out. Water is so nice this time of the year.

I ain't getting out there in this BS. I clocked gust up to 36 Saturday.

The good news however is that I won my Chiefs bet as they covered the line 12.5 seconds into the game.

BTW, here is a picture of my GF:

Went sat am before the wind and i caught a bunch of water. I noticed the temp was up a smidge from last sunday and a little off westbay winter clear. I dunno if that had something to do with it cause last sunday easy limits before 11. It was cold as chit sunday am..

I put a new prop on my skiff Sunday morning, and tried to test it out...bad move. It's a 19 foot ECC Vantage, and I keep it at the GYB Drystack, so I ran from GYB to Greens, and the Lower Galveston Bay was chopped up like a champion. Combined with a steady 15-20mph North wind made for a bit of wet ride in the skiff.

Good news is that with this new prop, I got the top end I was missing and only gave up a little bit of holeshot. The bad news is that the water was so low that I couldn't even get my skiff into Greens Lake. It was crazy low.
