So I get home at 5:30 Friday and my wife is sick as all get out. So I get her fixed up and take care of her. Go down to the boat house and start getting the boat ready for what was going to be a jam up weekend of fishing. BOY WAS I WRONG.... By 1:00 am Saturday morning I had a 103 temp and thought I was going to DIE. Even feeling that bad I tried to convince myself I was OK and it would pass.... NOT! I was in bed SAT, SUN, MON, most of TUES but meds where working so I ventured out Tuesday at about noon to get some fresh, muggy air mixed with some fog. A CABLAM I hit paydirt. I nailed a double limit of big fat female trout 10 minutes from the house. I noticed a lot of people fishing but no one catching. The one thing they all had in common was they where all throwing soft plastics and nortons. The fish are really on the corky bite. If your still thinking summertime your thinking wrong. If you wanna produce some real fish get with the program and start throwing the right baits. Feeling better now but not 100%. MERRY CHRISTMAS FWE GANG!!! ILL be chunkin and throwing this weekend if the weather allows. Whoever can spot me and approaches carefully gets a nice bag of baits for Christmas... Everyone knows my boat. just don't cross my drift.

First boat to find me and say it gets 3 of my favorite brokebacks and turned on to the fish. That's 30$ worth of baits.
