Troll motor upgrade

I need to upgrade my troll motor on the pathfinder. Been looking at the motorguide 105 5xi. Anybody have this motor? I have a minnkotta wireless i pilot on my other boat and i had some problems with it when i first got it. It would just shut off at highest speed. It had only 10hrs on it so being the motorguide is way cheaper im thinking of going that route.

I'm following this thread as I'm looking to upgrade my trolling motor as well. Have my eye on the Xi5 80. A buddy has one and it's paired with a Lowrance HDS...he says it's sweet.
