Saturday - West Bay

4 of us headed out Saturday morning despite the wind blowing 20MPH+ and high pressure. We waded several coves on the south shore of West Bay. Mostly threw plastics. Everyone caught fish but we had zero keepers. Got tired of fighting the wind about 2p and headed back in.

Maybe 5 reds and 10 trout total. Again, no keepers.

Beats sitting on the couch.

Strong work getting out there. I wanted to head down Saturday, but it looked like tough kayak conditions.

It was tough 23' Pathfinder conditions. Tough yak fishing for sure.

It's been a better bite in the afternoon until dark. Corky XLs have been catching better fish 18"-20".

I was fishing the south side of West Bay on Saturday too. Wind was tough but I did manage two flounder and 2 reds, only one flounder a keeper.

Congrats on getting out there ... no couch can compare and ya'll didn't get skunked so hey... I say good job.
