Why not just buy a bunch of jig heads... weigh them individually and group them regardless of what the package said they were? All the 1/16th (or close) go together, 1/8th together, etc.?
Might save you the trouble of casting your own... unless you really just want to take on that project.

I will be sorting them like you said , also trying the h20 and buying more elites, those just get expensive quick when they rust or get snagged.
I like the idea of pouring my own though.
Might just be me but I'm trying to figure out what difference it makes. If they look ok and are close to the weight you're comfortable with then use them. It's not like the fish is down there going "Man, I can't eat that, it's 0.02 oz heavier than its supposed to be."
Just my 0.02 cents.

Ha yeah I get your point but that's why I keep saying or at least I think I have said a few times here, if they want the slow fall of a 1/16 and you put on a jig head that says it's 1/16 but it's over an 1/8th Oz then they might not like it as much due to speed of fall/ action.
