  • Fished SLP Bridge Saturday

Went out with my bayou neighbors for about 30 minutes or so before we had to run in and pick more folks up. We bagged 3 nice reds in pretty quick fashion. My neighbor's daughter Lindy was the star of the show, bringing in 2 of the beasts. I told her to email the pics and I'd make her famous on the interweb. First pic is her fish, I'm just holding it for her. Second pic is our captain, Eddy with Lindy and her second fish. Third is me with my fish, the smallest of course. Last pic is an interesting sunset phenomenon. Had a great time, even if it was just a short trip. It's always great seeing kids catch fish.

I figured I'd clean up on trout under the lights last night, but all I got were dinks galore and one leeetle flounder. There were bigger trout, but it seemed like they wanted only live bait. The weather out here at Blockade Runners has been STELLAR. Weekends like this are a gift from God.
