  • GYB area Oct 3 ( saturday) not much

Drifting seawolf flats by 7am, wife running dead shrimp, myself , flounder pounder and
clucky chicken , drifted from the corner back down the channel into about 3.5 feet
and ran that for 5 times, bounced over to the other side of seawolf the wader were thick
over there. We drifted a few times by the larger marker out there , and checked up
near shore in about 4 feet , could not get a bite. Back around to the aggie compound ( out from aggie pier )
and wife picked up a infant slimmer and the sonar was full of fish. We did not see anyone
catching anything the sonar issue was a draw, lots stopped when screen lit up.
Ran over to the rail bridge area at the cause way, trying to learn how to fish there and what to expect, seemed like 8 feet around to the south first two poles anyway. Wife got into the pin fish and had a blast. She learned how to remove them without getting stabbed. I bet that is a great place for the grand kids. Current started ripping and its slowed way way down.
Need ideas on how to make pelican island work , before it gets croweded

Looking at Saturdays tide. It started going out just after Midnight.
If the flounder were there, most of them would have left the shallows and gone deep by dawn.
