  • Whos going to brave the big bad northeast

So this morning as i got up to go to work i notice the cooler weather and the twenty plus northeast howling off the beach. The whole day i was looking out the shop door over westbay and it doesnt seem like its gunna settle down. Whos all going out? Had to change my game plans for the austin folks. Looks like some back bay and northshore
    Good luck guys

I met Hogie out on the bay and we had a decent day. Kept 5 trout and 2 reds and release some that didn't make the cut. Most of the fish were caught will plum plastics over a mix of shell and grass. This is the type of front we need. There's always a protected shoreline somewhere out there.

3 keepers to 3 lbs and a few throwbacks. Yep it was brutal.

Yup, that surf was really rollin' Saturday! I'm sure the bay was churned up also.

Got a late start yesterday and fished from noon - 6p. Started at Snake Island and worked back all the way to Starvation Cove. Caught a few dink trout and got spooled by a very large Jack.

Grabbed a late lunch at Floyds and finished at Greens Lake. Caught a few more dinks and lost a nice one at the boat.

Back at the dock in time to watch another Aggie win!

All caught on plum/chart or chicken on a chain.

Good day on the water with the wife.
