Chocolate bay fishing report

Went out today and it wasn't bad. It wasn't good either lol.
My buddy and I caught 7 specks and 4 reds! Not bad right? The bad news is that they were all undersized but catching them was a blast. Amarada cut and new bayou are the place to be. I'm in a 18 ft alumacraft with a 90 yamaha. If ya'll see me out there stop by and say hi lol. I hope the spots help tight lines fellas.

Sorry I'm new at this but it was popping corks and live shrimp and some natural 3" gulp shrimp as well for bait

NFIC... Not the place to be unless you want undersized fish. That's all chocolate holds. Good job on getting out there though

x2 on that all Chocolate holds is small fish, especially summer time patterns.

The best advice I was ever given was to fish with your eyes not your spots. Meaning look for activity bait, birds, color change, water clarity, water temp, moon phase slicks and don't be afraid to make a change. try different stuff. and I keep a log at home of ever fishing trip. Most of the time the bait will dictate the fish feeding the pattern. Especially in the winter. But the pressures and moon phases correspond with feeding

So what moon phase and barometric pressure is ideal for feeding the fish klp?
