Recon trip

I didnt find the numbers I was looking for or the size. I did find a good topwater bite this morning on the south shorelines near Jamaica. They were very scattered but bait was thick .One knock in bone. I looked for some reds but only came up with a few rats. Biggest trout might of went 17. I dunno anymore. I was having better results out in the houston ship channel. Might hit it up tomorrow or Monday. Not to many boats out there. Guess the rain had them at bay. How did everyone else do.

I was trying to take my gang water skiing in Clear Lake and the rain kept us out…… Wish I would have gone fishing first and picked them up at the pier when they "finally get up"…..

I was thinking of heading out this morning, then I remembered I haven't renewed my license. Caught a little more sack time instead.
