    Where might one buy live blue crabs for home boiling ?

    Boyds - Texas City or any of the places in Kemah. Roses, Baybrook etc.. I'd call first.

      Ha ! I go to boyd's for shrimp but never see live crabs . They would probably be in the back in a live well . I'm remiss not to have asked before .

        Well , i called boyd's one stop and as of now they have live blue crabs .

          I usually go to Katie's or the place next door (I'm blanking on their name) down on Wharf - east of Olympia Grill.

                    If you feel like catching them...redfish cove. Every time I gig around there I see more blues than I can count.

                        My wife had 18 of them she caught behind the house in a bucket on the porch when I got home. Pots heating up now.
