Damn, that is scootin in a skeeter. Mine tops out at half that speed but it's probably 30 plus years older that your boat though. I take it that was halls bayou?

Oh yes that is always a concern on the bayou. I'd already traveled that area and new there wasn't any debris and traffic was very light on the bayou.

My Skeeter is 25 years old so she isn't a spring chicken. I've done a lot of work to her over the last few months. Yes it is Halls bayou my home away from home.

I'll be out there this weekend, my wife is fed up with wind and rough chop, and my sister and her man are always up there in the bar when they aren't at the FOE, and she's been wanting me to stop in and have a couple beers with them so I can kill 2 birds with one stone lol

Thanks guys, I'm really glad I got her. I'd heard that model was one of the smoothest ever made and I believe that is right.

I have not seen smooth water since last fall when there was fog.
like others have said 40 is fast for me.
