    Do the backs of those shin guards offer protection too? I was only wearing the ray guard boots but the place I got hit is behind where the shinguards seem to have the most protection.

    Man that's a nasty wound. It looks kind of like the one Lynn Smith had in POC. I got hit in the heel by a small ray a long time ago. I had some necrosis around the wound site and a plug of dead tissue eventually fell out.

    Yep thanks guys, I think I'll get two sets of ray guards and duct tape them around my calves for 360° coverage or see if iron man will let me borrow some boots!
