I started a post about 6 weeks ago regarding a guide that would teach me the Galveston Bay System, and based on the responses I received and there were many personal emails; with I'm sure a lot of great guides I chose Capt. Greg Francis and gave him a call. He was quick to call me back and I explained the guide trip I was interested in.
Now let me say I'm not one to bash anyone and I should be more proactive when someone goes above and beyond my expectations, so here it goes.
I've had a few guided trips in my days however, this was the BEST guided trip I have ever been on. I can't begin to explain the amount of detail Capt. Greg went through to make sure I had a thorough understanding of the bay system. It was not only the overall perspective but the little tidbits of information that was super helpful.
Now as he said, and I know I still have much to learn, but I feel like I can take the boat out from East bay to West bay with confidence. This was with out a doubt the best money I could have spent!
If your looking for a guide that is awesome at what he does, Capt. Greg gets my vote!
A couple of things I want to point out, a big thank you to the great people of West End Anglers for pointing me in the right direction and a super outing with Capt. Greg.
