Welcome. Since you are new to West bay, I would advise picking up a Hook-n-line map at Academy and studying it for potential spots to try. I've only been fishing west bay for a year and 3 months and this has worked great.

Welcome! Dont discount the bastrop marsh area. Some good reds and specs in there.
